【Local Sightseeing】 Canoe Tours in the Submerged Forest: Reservations Now Open!

Paddle into a Spring Wonderland at Lake Shirakawa | Starting March 20th

Experience one of Japan’s most mystical spring sights—the “Submerged Forest” (Suibotsurin). As the snow melts and the water level rises in Lake Shirakawa, the vibrant green willow trees appear to float upon the crystal-clear water, creating a fairytale-like landscape.

This stunning phenomenon only occurs for a limited window each spring. We invite you to glide through the silent, floating forest on a guided canoe tour.

🚣 Tour Highlights

  • A Hidden Gem: This surreal scenery is a seasonal masterpiece found in the town of Iide.
