His work had been exhibited at Nitten exhibition for 60 years throughout his career, the most popular of all the great art organizations in Japan started in 1907.

Together with Arne Jacobsen and Hans J. Wegner, created Finn Juhl, they are a leading designer/architect in modern Danish furniture design.
