The 2nd Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival

Yonezawa City in Yamagata Prefecture will once again host Japan’s only fireworks festival themed around the Sengoku period — the Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival.

The stage is set at Yonezawa Municipal Baseball Stadium, where the historic Keichō Dewa Battle will be brought to life. Through fireworks, music, lighting, and drone performances, visitors will experience the atmosphere of the Sengoku era from 425 years ago.

Spectacular fireworks by Japan’s top pyrotechnicians
Enjoy a one-hour, non-stop fireworks show produced by award-winning masters, including winners of the Prime Minister’s Award. The fusion of digital star mines and drone performances is a must-see.
